Former Bush White House attorney John Yoo has been sued for his role in crafting "torture memos." On January 22, 2010, attorney Hirad D. Dadgostar joined Hamid Jabbar and Dawinder Sidhu on an amicus brief before the Ninth Circuit on behalf of former California Supreme Court Justice Cruz Reynoso, Stanford's Deborah Rhode, and other noted legal ethics scholars. The scholars seek an order affirming the district court's denial of Yoo's motion to dismiss.
